For example, a climbing face can serve as the entrance to your course, the exit point from your ropes course, or the tower can serve as a stand-along high course event. Design variables include the following: (a) the number and height of poles, (b) the number of climbing faces on the tower, (c) the addition of various climbing features, (d) covered roof, (e) internal stairways or ladders, (f) the belay system .
